According to the Ministry of Health of the country, the Committee of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on the Issues of Science, Education, Culture and Sport organized discussion on the issues of increase of medical culture among pupils of pre-school educational institutions and secondary schools at the roundtable.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of National Education, Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican center of spirituality, employees of preschool educational institutions and schools, journalists.
The event noted that the State program “Year of a healthy mother and child” defined a number of objectives to improve the medical culture of the population, strengthen the efficiency of work in the field of sanitation and hygiene, promotion of proper nutrition.
Their implementation will further promote public health and disease prevention. In this context, the importance of education and training, received at pre-school educational establishments and schools.
Students gain necessary skills in the area at the lessons in various subjects and hours of spirituality. The work of special training courses “Health Lessons”, “Basics of a healthy generation” is established, there are circles “Diligent Girls”.
