The Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications held a press conference on the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of information and communication technologies for all sectors of the economy.
During the event, representatives of the Ministry, the Tashkent University of Information Technology and the University of Inha in Tashkent (IUT) spoke about training and reforms in the relevant institutions, as well as cooperation of universities and enterprises.
Our university has created a Center for Innovation and industrial cooperation, which is intended to expand the research and innovation potential, ensure the commercialization of scientific research and intellectual activities, creating conditions for the development of professional skills in students, including through their involvement in the development of software products, transfer of innovative products and services to the domestic and foreign markets, - said the Rector of IUT Sherzod Shermatov. - It is also intended to create the conditions for reaching a new level of professional education and promote a new way of thinking, the necessary professional skills in students, in close collaboration with practitioners in the process of research and practice. We plan to cooperate with companies and organizations in the implementation of ICT projects that will attract students of our university. This collaboration will allow firstly getting the finished product for their needs, and students - additional knowledge and experience of working on a real project. At the same time the company will be able to cook their own experts, they will be able to hire. This will benefit the companies and students.
