The tourism sector plays an important role in socio-economic development of our country. As in the rest of Uzbekistan, a special attention is paid to the development of tourism in the Namangan region.
According to the target program of development of tourism industry in 2010-2015 four hotels were built in Namangan in the past three years, especially in Pap and Chust districts, and a convalescent home was put into operation in Chartak district.
Recently, hotel for 56 seats, named “Buyuk Ipak yuli” was also commissioned in Do’stlik avenue in Namangan. Currently, second phase of construction of this object is ongoing, after which the hotel will be able to host 80 guests.
