On May 23, 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, reports the press service of Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
The Ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations and exchanged views on some international and regional issues.
During the conversation special attention was paid to the issues of the agenda of the Council of Foreign Ministers and other events within the presidency of Uzbekistan in the organization.
