Investigation department comments on explosion in Tashkent region
On November 11, an explosion occurred in the territory of the “Surum” mahalla in the Kuyichirchik district, Tashkent region, due to a leak of domestic gas.
Reportedly, an outbreak of fire and gas mixture, which was accumulated due to leakage of domestic gas, resulted in the incident. A 36-year-old man and a 65-year-old pensioner living in the house died at the scene.
In addition, a 34-year-old woman and three minor children were hospitalized with burns of varying degrees.
“At present, the prosecutor’s office of the Kuichirchik district is conducting a pre-investigation check on this fact,” the investigation department said.
