The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhobov, and the head of the “Lotus” textile company in Egypt, Khusam Jaber, held online negotiations, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the issues related to the expansion of trade in textile products, the implementation of joint projects in mutual cooperation, and the expansion of the export of Uzbek textile products to the Arab world and other African countries.
Khusam Jaber said that he is closely cooperating with the textile companies of Uzbekistan and that he is currently buying high-quality fabrics and is ready to further expand the volume of imports in the future. He informed that cotton processing, yarn and fabric production processes in Uzbekistan are carried out on the basis of modern technology, and he emphasized that textile products are distinguished by their high quality.
Davron Vakhobov invited Khusam Jaber and his accompanying representatives to visit the country on July 7-10 this year in order to get acquainted with the work of large companies in Uzbekistan and to discuss the issues of further development of effective cooperation. It was agreed to solve the organizational issues of the upcoming visit through diplomatic channels.
