According to the Statistics Agency, more than 6.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan last year.
The purposes of travel of foreign citizens to Uzbekistan in 2023:
- to visit relatives – 5.6 million people;
- for recreation – 773.2 thousand people;
- for work – 143.5 thousand people;
- on business – 70.4 thousand people;
- for treatment – 61.3 thousand people;
- for studies – 16.8 thousand people.
