Tashkent’s Lokomotiv secured a 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in the last 16 and advanced to the quarter-finals.
The sides played out a scoreless draw in Riyadh last week. On 24 May in the second leg of the round, Lokomotiv ensured a 2-1 victory with the goals of Islom Tukhtakhujaev and Sherzod Fayziev. The only goal by Al Hilal came from penalty in the last minute.
Lokomotiv has not suffered any loss this season at the AFC Champions League. In a group stage, the team won two games and in four games agreed to a draw.
