At 02:28 local time, a minor malfunction at the Kuylyk substation led to a partial electricity outage at Tashkent airport. Authorities confirmed that the incident did not impact aircraft departures or arrivals, and all airport services continued to operate normally.
The departure and arrival halls were supplied with electricity via backup diesel generators and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. By 02:49, full power had been restored.
The airport administration apologized for the temporary inconvenience and asked the public for their understanding.
