Uzbekistan and Serbia to develop intergovernmental migration agreement
A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullaev, visited Serbia and reached an agreement to draft an intergovernmental agreement on migration and mobility.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation held meetings with Serbia's Minister of Labor, Veterans, and Social Affairs, Nemanja Starović, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Stojanović, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladan Zagrađanin.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in external labor migration, simplifying visa procedures, and ensuring the protection of Uzbek citizens working in Serbia.
Both sides agreed to develop and sign an intergovernmental agreement on migration and mobility. Additionally, they committed to expanding the legal framework for economic cooperation, particularly by enhancing investment partnerships between the two countries.
