Customs officers prevent smuggling of TV sets worth 5 billion soums

In Bukhara region, within the framework of the rapid operative event held by officers of the Department for Combating Counterfeit and infringement of Customs Legislation, it was discovered that residents of the region tried to smuggle large amounts of TV set into the country.
In cargo containers shipped to one of the limited liability companies operating in Bukhara region, in compliance with the customs documents filled, there should have been synthetic ropes worth $5,422.
However, when the containers were checked it was found out that instead of the registered products there were 1206 units of LG TV sets worth 5 billion soums.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out on the case.
