Ethnical town representing regional traditions of the country to be built in Tashkent

An ethno-city is being built in Tashkent. It will represent the characteristics and traditions of all regions of the country, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
This town is being built on the territory of the park “Navruz”, its total area is 32 hectares.
“This interesting project will provide an opportunity to visit all regions of our republic at the same time. Each region will be presented in its traditions, customs and colors. Visitors will be able to try national culinary dishes in teahouses, buy souvenirs of national handicrafts and enjoy original culture. The park built in the style of an ethnographic town is intended to reflect the Uzbek national values,” the company Uzbekistan Railways said, which implements the project.
There is no doubt that the open-air park-museum, which absorbs eastern and modern aesthetics, will be in demand among both local population and guests of the capital.
It is planned to celebrate here such holidays as Independence Day, the holiday of the spring “Navruz”, as well as to hold folk festivals and concerts for residents.
The park is being built at a fast pace and its opening is planned this year.
It should be recalled that the first cable-stayed pedestrian bridge in Uzbekistan is being constructed on the territory of the same park.
