Uzbek delegation attends UNODC meeting in Vienna
On March 14-22, 2019, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan consisting of representatives of the National Information and Analytical Center for Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Security Service and the Ministry of Interior will take part in the 62nd annual session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), which will be held in Vienna, the MFA reported.
According to the Embassy of our country in Austria, within the framework of the event, the Uzbek delegation is scheduled to meet with Deputy Secretary General, Executive Director of UNODC Yuri Fedotov, SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov, as well as heads of several international organizations and heads of departments of UNODC.
On March 18, an international seminar will be held on the experience of Uzbekistan in combating the spread of narcotic drugs and regional cooperation in this area.
