Abdulaziz Kamilov, Darkhan Satybaldy discuss holding the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan

On March 29, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Satybaldy. 

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, accepting the copies of his credentials, Abdulaziz Kamilov warmly congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening relations between the two countries and people.

During the meeting, current issues of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan cooperation were discussed.

As it was noted, Uzbekistan respects Kazakhstan’s achievements in implementation of political and socio-economic reforms, the basis of which was laid by the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The sides also considered the schedule and agenda of the upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, as well as issues related to the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.
