Customs officers detain a citizen carrying Makarov pistol

At the “Gulbahor” border customs post, customs officers carried out a check in relation to a citizen of Uzbekistan who was passing through the post, the press service of the State Customs Committee reports.

As a result of inspections conducted with participation of witnesses, it was identified that the man was hiding a Makarov pneumatic pistol and 2 oxygen cylinders in his carry-on bag without declaring during an oral interrogation by customs officers.

Currently, customs inspections are underway on the fact of an offense.
