Customs officers seize gas pistol, ammunition from a foreigner in Surkhandarya

At the border customs post “Sariasia” in the Surkhandarya region, it was identified that a foreign citizen had a pneumatic gun, five gas canisters and 630 steel bullets. The press service of the State Customs Committee of the Republic reported about this.   
 
At the “Sariasia” border customs post in the Surkhandarya region, a customs check was carried out against a foreign citizen Yu. A., who entered our country from the neighboring republic in his Volkswagen Jetta passenger car.

“As a result of the inspection conducted with participation of witnesses, it was found out that Yu. A. concealed from customs control one pneumatic gun, five gas cartridges and 630 units of steel bullets,” the report reads.  

The State Customs Committee did not specify the citizenship of the offender.

Currently, customs checks are being carried out on the fact of violation.
