Export of melons and watermelons drop significantly

In January-September 2021, Uzbekistan exported 79.1 thousand tons of melons and watermelons for $21.7 million, the State Statistics Committee said.
Export of melons and watermelons decreased by 21.8 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the committee noted.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported melons and watermelons mainly to:
- Kazakhstan - 33.1 thousand tons
- Russia - 20.1 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 13 thousand tons
- Ukraine - 5.6 thousand tons
- Latvia - 2.9 thousand tons
- Belarus - 1.4 thousand tons
- Germany - 1.2 thousand tons
- Tajikistan - 1.1 thousand tons
- Moldova - 298.7 tons
- Poland - 248.5 tons
- Sweden - 56.1 tons
