Uzbekistan granted citizenship to more than 23,000 people since 2016
No citizenship was granted to anyone between 2007 and 2016.

From December 2016 to the present day, 23,310 stateless persons have been granted citizenship of Uzbekistan based on 97 decrees of the President of Uzbekistan.
The granting of citizenship to stateless persons by years:
in 2016 – 179 people;
in 2017 – 1,064 people;
in 2018 - 2,760 people;
in 2019 - 6,318 people;
in 2020 - 8,127 people;
in 2021 - 4,567 people;
in 2022 - 295 people.
Only 482 people were granted citizenship of Uzbekistan from 1991 to 2007, and no one received citizenship between 2007 and 2016.
