Total Energies interested in developing a network of electric charging stations in Uzbekistan

The French company plans to open a representative office in Tashkent.
Uzbekneftegaz held talks with a delegation of Total Energies.
The parties discussed cooperation issues in various areas of the energy sector. In particular, the guests expressed their readiness to work together with Uzbekneftegaz on green energy initiatives.
Total Energies is interested in participating in projects for the development of electric charging stations. The Uzbek side told the company representatives about measures to build charging stations, taking into account the growing demand for electric vehicles.
In addition, the sides considered partnership in the oil and gas sector. It was noted that Uzbekneftegaz pays special attention to the development of production at the fields (upstream) and the launch of new projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbons at Uzbekistan GTL.
Representatives of Total Energies also announced plans to open a representative office in Tashkent. It will be responsible for promoting the interests of the French company throughout Central Asia.
