Administrative fine for illegal logging to rise by 5 times
The moratorium on cutting down trees and shrubs has been extended indefinitely.

During the period of the moratorium, in addition to the existing restrictions and obligations, violators are subject to 5 times the amount of an administrative fine for violating the requirements of the moratorium.
Also, for damage caused by logging and damage to trees and shrubs, the amounts of recovery are applied with a double increase.
It is strictly forbidden to adopt government orders, protocols, written instructions, departmental documents, orders and decisions of governors containing instructions for cutting, pruning, damaging or destroying trees and shrubs.
Construction and contractor organizations that violate the requirements of the moratorium will be deprived of one point in the rating of the national information system "Shaffof Qurilish (Transparent Construction)".
Persons who sent photos and videos of violations to the special information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Committee for Ecology will receive a cash reward in the amount of 1 BCU (330 thousand soums) from the funds collected from the offender for each confirmed case.
