Ambassador Nodir Ganiyev hands over copies of his credentials to the King of Sweden
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Sweden Nodir Ganiyev met in Stockholm with King Carl XVI Gustaf.

At the meeting, the ambassador presented copies of his credentials to the King of Sweden.
Following the ceremony, the parties had talks to discuss important aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
King Carl XVI Gustaf congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his responsible work would serve to further develop Uzbekistan-Sweden multilateral relations.
It should be noted that Nodir Ganiyev is Uzbekistanās first ambassador to Sweden. He was appointed to this position in October 2023.
The diplomatic representation of Uzbekistan in Stockholm became the 36th embassy in foreign countries.
