Media: Aeroflot plane made an emergency landing in Tashkent
Two Russians immediately became ill on board the Airbus A330 on March 21 during a flight from Thailand.
According to SHOT, the day before, an Airbus A330 was flying from Bangkok to Yekaterinburg, but one of the passengers became ill during the flight. The crew decided to urgently land in Tashkent. The plane was met by a medical team who hospitalized the 59-year-old man. Previously, he had a heart attack. His wife remained on board and decided to fly further to Yekaterinburg. The man was taken to the republican hospital in Tashkent.
An hour later, the crew was preparing to continue the flight, but while taxiing to the runway, another passenger became ill. The Airbus turned around and returned to the parking lot, the woman was handed over to the doctors. Soon the board continued its flight to Yekaterinburg.
Information about an unexpected stop in Tashkent is confirmed by data from the online scoreboard of Koltsovo Airport, reports the Yekaterinburg website E1.RU. The passengers arrived in Yekaterinburg only at 17:00.
“There was an emergency landing at Tashkent airport. Due to the deterioration of the passenger's condition, they boarded in Tashkent. Aeroflot flight attendants are at the highest level, very attentive and vigilant,” the author of “Kukhnya Aeroflota” Telegram channel said.
