Uzbekistan delegation holds a meeting with Japan’s parliamentary deputy FM
The delegation of Uzbekistan met with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoichi Fukazawa.
“Uzbekistan is distinguished by peace, political and economic stability. The results of large-scale reforms implemented in your country in recent years deserve special praise. Japan views Uzbekistan as a strategic partner in the Central Asian region,” Yoichi Fukazawa said.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also focused on the results of the recent productive visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Japan, during which bilateral meetings and a joint business forum were successfully held.
In particular, it was reported that the participation of about 300 companies operating in various sectors of the Japanese economy in the Uzbek-Japanese business forum is evidence of the great interest of the Japanese side in investing in Uzbekistan, strengthening and expanding economic relations.
