This is attributed to the rising temperatures of the railway tracks' surface and their steel components during hot weather, which necessitate the imposition of speed limits to ensure the safety of passengers and trains.

Additionally, with the reduction in train speeds, the effectiveness of the trains' cooling systems may also decrease.
