"Currently, all telecommunication services provided by JSC 'Uzbektelecom' (brand UZTELECOM) are being delivered as usual. There are no restrictions," said the company's spokesperson Timur Mamadjanov.
In recent days, local social media users have complained about poor YouTube performance, including slow video loading.
In mid-July, Rostelecom, a state-owned internet provider in Russia, announced a slowdown in YouTube's performance in Russia. The cause was attributed to "technical issues" on the local servers of Alphabet, a US company.
