The French airline Air France may begin operating flights to Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Tourism Committee.
During a meeting in Paris, the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism, Umid Shadiev, reached an agreement with Air France's Director of Commercial Affairs to jointly explore the possibilities of launching direct flights.
The parties also agreed to collaborate on promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential on the platforms of the French airline.

This cooperation will involve the creation of new themed tourist routes, and the organization of PR campaigns, roadshows, and presentations to promote the country's tourism potential.
At a meeting with BBC STUDIOS France, an agreement was reached to film a special edition of the Top Gear France auto show dedicated to Uzbekistan by the end of this year. A visit by the French delegation is scheduled for September.
