Law enforcement officers intercept 4.5 kg of synthetic narcotics in Tashkent raids
In Tashkent, law enforcement officers have successfully disrupted the circulation of synthetic drugs valued at more than 5 billion UZS. A joint operation conducted by the State Security Service (SSS) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) targeted individuals involved in the procurement and distribution of a large quantity of synthetic narcotics.

The operation began when a 17-year-old boy, who raised suspicions among officers, was found in possession of potent narcotic substances. During a search of his temporary residence in the Mirabad district, authorities discovered 2 kilograms and 50 grams of synthetic drugs hidden in an oven.
Additionally, law enforcement seized 139 grams of two different types of synthetic narcotics that were intended for sale via the “stash” method.
In a separate operation in the Yashnabad district, a 25-year-old man was apprehended with a substantial amount of drugs. A search of his home uncovered 2 kilograms and 190 grams of synthetic narcotics concealed within a dishwasher, along with equipment used for packaging the drugs for distribution.
In total, the operations resulted in the confiscation of 4 kilograms and 490 grams of synthetic drugs, with an estimated market value of 5 billion 200 million UZS.
