Uzbekistan Airways flight from Istanbul to Tashkent makes emergency landing in Ankara
A flight operated by Uzbekistan Airways from Istanbul to Tashkent was forced to make an emergency landing in Ankara because of a passenger's deteriorating health.
According to a statement from the air company, the incident occurred during flight HY282, prompting the captain to request an emergency landing at Ankara's international airport. The flight landed safely at 10:12 AM Tashkent time.
Medical personnel promptly removed the ailing passenger from the aircraft and transported them to a local hospital for further care.
The aircraft later resumed its journey, departing Ankara at 1:20 PM. It is expected to arrive in Tashkent at 4:10 PM.
