Inspections to be conducted at all gas stations in Fergana after explosion incident
According to the press service of the regional administration, a special working group has been established to prevent accidents and emergencies, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any identified shortcomings.

The group includes representatives from the regional "Uzdavneftgazinspeksiya" department, the regional Emergency Situations Department, the gas supply company "Hududgaz Fergana," and other responsible agencies.
The working group will inspect autogas compressor stations, gas stations, and fueling stations to ensure compliance with industrial, fire, and environmental safety standards. They will also examine the condition of fuel storage tanks and review other regulatory requirements.
It is emphasized that these inspections will not interfere with the financial operations of the gas stations, and they will continue to function as usual during the process.
In addition, all personnel working at gas stations, gas compressor stations, and gas filling stations — regardless of their organizational or legal status — will undergo specialized training through a program organized by the regional Emergency Situations Department training center.
As a reminder, on December 17, a gas explosion occurred at a multi-fuel gas station and gas filling point in Fergana. According to official reports, four people lost their lives as a result of the explosion.
