The powers of the National Guard in preventing offenses among minors have been expanded through amendments to the Administrative Responsibility Code under new legislation.
Under the new law, the National Guard’s Department for Child Affairs and its regional divisions are authorized to review cases of administrative violations and impose administrative penalties, with this authority extending to its military personnel and staff.
The law will come into force from the day it is officially announced.
