"I spend almost every day in the library. Right now, I am learning English with great enthusiasm. My mother has played a significant role in my language learning journey. Thanks to the supportive environment my parents have created, I have been able to learn the language with great interest.
"At home, we communicate in English. Seeing me, my younger sister has also developed a strong passion for language learning. Even when comforting my five-month-old brother, I speak to him in English.
"I started learning English seriously in the third grade. My mother would reward me with gifts whenever I completed her assigned tasks. My parents also buy me any book I want, which has further fueled my interest in learning the language. So far, I have read more than 100 books in English. I especially love reading travel-related books,” she said.
Nilufar is planning to take the IELTS exam soon, and in April, she will sit for the national certification exam.
"In the future, I want to study at Harvard. Becoming an ambassador is one of my biggest dreams.
"Since my mother is busy taking care of my younger sibling, I have to navigate the streets independently. My parents strictly oppose me playing on my phone, and by now, I have completely adapted to this rule," says Nilufar Shuhratova.
