Uzbekistan sees 30% increase in tourist arrivals in January 2025
Uzbekistan experienced a significant rise in tourist arrivals at the beginning of 2025, with 678,700 foreign nationals visiting the country in January for tourism purposes, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
This marks an increase of 158,500 visitors, or 30.5%, compared to the same period last year.
The majority of tourists came from neighboring countries, with Kyrgyzstan leading the list at 211,262 visitors, followed closely by Tajikistan with 200,969. Kazakhstan ranked third, contributing 105,551 tourists.

• Russia: 48,695 visitors
• Afghanistan: 42,733 visitors
• Turkmenistan: 26,154 visitors
• Turkey: 11,660 visitors
• India: 5,049 visitors
• China: 4,988 visitors
• South Korea: 2,896 visitors
• Other countries: 18,718 visitors
