Uzbekistan GTL plant launches synthetic oil production
Uzbekistan GTL plant has produced the first batch of synthetic oil in the history of the country’s petrochemical industry.
The synthetic oil is the main feedstock for the production of synthetic diesel fuel, jet fuel, naphtha and liquefied gas at the plant.
The produced oil is currently stored in the plant’s intermediate storage tanks.
Reportedly, the production of high quality, environmentally friendly synthetic liquid fuels, including GTL diesel, kerosene, naphtha and LPG, will soon begin through refining.
Earlier on June 14, the production of synthesis gas was fully launched at the GTL plant. On the same day, the produced synthesis gas was sent for the first time to the Fischer-Tropsch reactors, the facility for the production of synthetic fluid.
It should be noted that the main commissioning of the plant, in particular, ensuring the synchronous operation of about 11 thousand pieces of equipment and main production facilities, as well as their full control, management are carried out independently by engineers of the Uzbekistan GTL plant, without the participation of foreign specialists.
