Ukrainian IT-academies to open branches in Tashkent
The NAPA (National Association for Process Automation, Uzbekistan) representatives held talks with Ukrainian IT companies, reports “Dunyo” news agency.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was signed on opening branches of Ukrainian IT academies, such as branch of Computer Academy STEP, IT Education Academy, Go IT Academy and IT Bootcamp UpScale at the NAPA Technopark in Tashkent by the end of this year. This is done to create a favorable environment and infrastructure for the development and promotion of domestic information technology industry in Uzbekistan.
It is envisaged that the NAPA technopark, as a center for development and commercialization of technological products, is intended to become a modern school for training IT professionals.
NAPA is a system integrator that automates business processes. Its main goal is to expand the IT sphere in Uzbekistan by creating a favorable environment and infrastructure for the development of domestic IT industry.
It should be noted that there are more than 500 IT-academies and around 200,000 program writers in Ukraine. Annual export of IT services amounted to $ 3.6 billion last year and is expected to reach $ 4.5 billion by the end of 2018.
