AFC President arrives in Tashkent

Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), arrived in Tashkent.

President of the National Olympic Committee, first vice-president of the UFA Umid Akhmadjanov met the high-ranking guest at the international airport named after Islam Karimov.

The main purpose of the AFC President's visit to Uzbekistan is to attend the meeting of the AFC Executive Committee, which will be held in Tashkent on September 26 for the first time.

It should be noted that the President of the AFC is accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Confederation Dato' Windsor John.
