New Deputy Prosecutor-General appointed
The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree on the appointment of a new Deputy Prosecutor-General, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
This position was occupied by Rashid Rakhmatov, who worked as a prosecutor of the Republic of Karakalpakstan since November 2017.
Mr. Rakhmatov was born in 1978. By profession, he is a lawyer. In 2004, he graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Law.
In 2004, he began his career in the Prosecutor’s office of Navoi city and held various positions in Navoi regional prosecutor’s office. Starting from 2009, he worked as a prosecutor, senior prosecutor of the department of the General Prosecutor’s office, prosecutor of Bukhara city, deputy head of department and head of department at the General Prosecutor’s office.
