Uzbek FM discussed security issues with German Bundestag member

On November 9, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Dirk Wiese, member of the German Bundestag, coordinator of the Federal Government of Germany on issues of inter-community cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the countries of the Eastern Partnership.

Within the framework of the talks that took place in Berlin, prospects for further development of the Uzbek-German political dialogue, bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields were discussed.

The meeting also touched upon some issues of regional and international security, as well as Uzbek-German interaction in the area of countering contemporary challenges and threats.
