Rector of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute is appointed to a new post 

Botir Daminov, who worked as rector of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute (TashPMI), is appointed director of the Republican specialized scientific-practical medical Center for nephrology and kidney transplantation, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported. 
 
On his new post, he is entrusted with such tasks as the formation of a technological material and scientific base designed to render specialized medical care meeting international requirements, organization of prophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in this specialty, in particular, rendering highly qualified nephrological and hemodialysis care to the population, as well as perfection of practicing kidney transplantation. 
 
In addition, Mr. Daminov becomes responsible for organizing the training of advanced personnel in this direction, improving the skills of employees at leading foreign medical institutions and clinics, introducing advanced methods and innovative technologies into practice, as well as helping to organize a necessary preventive work in the regions. 
 
In turn, it is worth noting that according to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to increase the efficiency of nephrological and hemodialysis care to the population of Uzbekistan” dated July 12, 2018, 7 billion sums were allotted for equipping with medical and diagnostic equipment, specifically, for high-tech devices - $ 2 million.
