On December 26, 2018, the Ministry of Finance jointly with the Central Bank of Uzbekistan held auction on placement of 200 thousand state securities with total circulation of 200 billion soums at discounted period of 6 months.
According to the Central Bank, 10 dealers participated in the auction and offered 239,230 competitive applications worth 223 billion soums.
During the auction, 197,100 units of securities worth 184.1 billion soums were placed.
Average yield of securities made 14.1% per annum, with minimal profitability at 13.7% and maximum return on deductible at 15.1%.
