Akfa University will be established – Governmental Decree

A governmental decree “On the formation of Akfa University” was adopted, the Telegram channel Legal Information reports.

The university will train highly qualified specialists in a number of fields, including medicine and humanities. The university is a non-state higher educational organization in the form of a limited liability company.

The educational process at the university will be carried out in English in cooperation with leading foreign higher educational institutions. The procedure for admission of applicants and certification of graduates is determined by agreement with foreign partners.

Admission quotas for areas of undergraduate education and graduate specialties are determined by the university. Tuition fees are yet to be announced.

University graduates receive a diploma recognized as a document on higher education in Uzbekistan.
