First Tourist Information Center opens at Tashkent International Airport
On March 12, the opening of the first Tourists Information Center in Uzbekistan was held at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
The opening of the facility is carried out in accordance with the Concept of development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019-2025, which envisages further boosting the tourism potential of our country.
The center was opened by Ulugbek Kasimhodjayev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development.

Kasimhodjayev noted the significance of this event and stressed that in the future such information tourist centers will be installed throughout the republic.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the tourist information center is to provide foreign guests with all the necessary information for their comfortable stay in Uzbekistan.
It will provide such services as booking a taxi, hotels, take from and to airport, tourist SIM cards, tourist information materials (maps, brochures, tourist routes) and others.
For information, Tashkent International Airport terminal can serve up to 1,200 passengers per hour.
