Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Ambassador of Uruguay

On April 2, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay with residence in Moscow, Enrique Juan Delgado Henta.

Accepting his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his mission in Uzbekistan and wished him successful work in a responsible post.

During the conversation, the prospects of the Uzbek-Uruguayan cooperation were considered.

Despite the geographical remoteness of Uzbekistan and Uruguay from each other, as noted, today there are real opportunities to intensify ties in some areas.

The parties also exchanged views on interaction in the format of international organizations.
