Ogtay Asadov invites Tanzila Narbayeva to visit Azerbaijan

On the sidelines of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the delegation of Uzbekistan held meetings with parliamentarians of Azerbaijan.

The Chairman of the Milli Məclis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov congratulated Uzbekistan on joining the Council of Turkic-Speaking States, and the Uzbek parliament - on the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS. He praised the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, including the dynamic development of parliamentarism.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further development of interparliamentary cooperation, which certainly serves as a powerful impetus in strengthening bilateral interstate relations in all spheres.

Ogtay Asadov invited the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva to pay an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
