Uzbekistan may introduce a five-day school week for all educational institutions, follows from the draft government decree developed by the State Committee for Tourism Development.
It is proposed to prolong the duration of the winter holidays by reducing the summer break. It is noted that this will help extend the tourist season.
It is also planned to increase the number of hostels, camps, international festivals, forums and introduce the Work & Travel program.
The number of foreign young tourists in 10 years is expected to reach 4 million. The number of domestic tourists among youth is expected to be around 12 million.
