Rustam Karimjonov appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education

Rustam Karimjonov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education. The corresponding decree was signed on June 10 by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Prior to his appointment, Rustam Karimjonov worked as director of the Center for Innovation, Technology and Strategy under the Ministry of Public Education.

Karimjonov replaced Sarvar Babakhodjaev, who in September 2019 became the director of the Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Rustam Karimjonov earned his bachelor’s degree from the Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction & Maintenance of Automobile Roads in 2009, and his master’s – from the International University of Solbridge (in the Republic of Korea) in 2011.
