Deputy PM Uktam Barnoyev and khokim of Bukhara region Karim Kamolov being treated for coronavirus

This became known on July 30 during a press conference held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications. It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health Ulugbek Sabirov, members of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff Khabibulla Okilov and Venera Baratova, as well as the director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology Anvar Alimov.

During the event, representatives of the Health Ministry reported that Deputy PM for Development of the Agrarian and Food Spheres Uktam Barnoyev had contracted the coronavirus. He is currently in the hospital. At the same time, it is not yet known exactly when he was hospitalized. There is also no information about his state of health.

It also became known that the khokim of the Bukhara region Karim Kamolov is being treated for coronavirus.

Previously, it was reported that the chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Musa Erniyazov and the regional khokim of Surkhandarya Tura Bobolov contracted the coronavirus infection.
