Birth rate in Uzbekistan increases
The State Services Agency has released information on the number of births in the country between January 1 and September 1, 2020.

According to the agency’s data, 541,072 babies were born in Uzbekistan during the specified period.
For reference, in January-December 2019, 815.9 thousand children were registered, the birth rate per 1,000 population was 24.3 ppm. In 2018, this figure was 23.3 ppm.
