Kamilov, Lavrov speak by phone

On October 5, Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov spoke by telephone.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties discussed the agendas and preparations for CIS events in October 2020.

It should be recalled that Uzbekistan has been chairing the CIS since January 1, 2020. The meetings of the CIS foreign ministers and heads of state are scheduled for October 15-16 this year in a videoconference format.
