Intergovernmental agreement between Uzbekistan and Belarus on interregional cooperation comes into force
The document provides for the organization of direct tourist exchange between the regions of the two countries.
According to the MFA press service, the document was signed in August 2019 during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belarus.
The agreement contributes to the expansion and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of the two countries in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as in the fields of agriculture, health care and environmental protection.
The document notes the agreement of the parties to facilitate the organization of direct tourist exchange between regions, the implementation of joint programs and projects in the field of tourism.
