The Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health told when mass vaccination of the population under 65 will begin.
“Currently, people over 65 and medical workers are being vaccinated. The list has recently been supplemented by employees of preschool institutions, teachers and people with chronic diseases,” said Nasiba Toirova, an employee of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service.
She noted that at the second stage of mass vaccination, the population not registered clinically is expected to receive vaccines by a decision of the Special Commission.
“Official information will soon be provided,” the expert concluded.
To remind, Uzbekistan has begun vaccination on April 1, prioritizing people who are at higher risk: elderly people, doctors, teachers and law enforcement officials.
